Belanger Septic Service
Belanger Septic Service was started to provide service for septic tanks to serviced and cleaned in an environmentally safe way.
Belanger Septic was started in 1967 by Clete and Betty Belanger, running the company for several years, they then sold to Kathy Beers in 1994 who ran and grew the company until she sold to the Sogge Family in 2007. Rich and Mandy Sogge bought the company to compliment the portable sanitation business they were already growing. Starting with 2 trucks and a van, the fleet has grown to 4 trucks to better serve our community.
Our goals as a company are to help protect our beautiful great lakes and bays, by keeping septic tanks clean, and serviced often to keep them from overflowing and potentially contaminating our beautiful area.
Security Sanitation was created with the goals of keeping our environment clean and to provide safe and sanitary options for when indoor restrooms are not possible.
Started by Fred Leddy in the mid 70’s Security started with 3 metal porta johns and 1 service vehicle. After a few years Terry Whiteford took over expanding the company with more units, and working the Cherry Festival in Traverse City. Bought by the Sogge family in 1997, Security now has well over 2000 porta johns including construction, weekend, monthly, festival units, and luxury restroom trailers.
Security Sanitation is committed to our community by providing safe, and environmentally sound alternatives to outdoor restroom facilities. Often donating to non profits, schools, and other charitable events, we feel it is our responsibility to help in whatever capacity we can. It is our goal to continue to provide superior service to Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Kalkaska and Antrim county residents, and businesses.
